Welcome to my website! My name is Logan Spinhirne, and I’m a 16-year-old entrepreneur and founder of The Note Shop.
As a child, Christmas was by far my favorite holiday. Every year I wrote a letter to Santa Claus, and one year I was thrilled when Santa left a handwritten note with my presents. The magic of that Christmas stayed with me throughout my childhood and eventually inspired this business idea.
In fifth grade, I began my entrepreneurship journey when I participated as a vendor at local farmers markets. Rather than sleeping in on Saturday mornings, I woke up early to set up at the market. During my years as a market vendor, I learned a lot about basic economics.
As I entered high school, I knew I didn’t want to work for anyone and that I wanted to be my own boss. I wanted to have my own real business, but I needed more experience. So, at the end of my freshman year, I applied for a scholarship and got into Texas A&M’s Entrepreneurship Camp in the summer of 2025.
Throughout the week, they brought in successful entrepreneurs who shared stories on how they got started. That experience sealed the deal for me, and for the next couple of months I was brainstorming ideas.
Sometime in late September, I was talking to my Grandpa, and he suggested that my business could be as simple as sending kids letters from Santa. I loved the idea instantly. And on November 9, 2025, I launched The Note Shop.
My business not only makes letters from Santa, but we're also creating love letters and expanding to more. These letters are about turning words into cherished keepsakes you’ll treasure forever.
